Said to be one of the best actors of his generation, Depp took the world by storm in the 1980s series, 21 Jump Street. From there his career took off. He often tries to hide his good looks behind quirky costumed characters. The role that shot him into the stratosphere is the unforgettable Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. After that, he became one of the highest paid and most sought-after actors ever.
Brando and Depp, as a matter of fact, made a movie together: Don Juan DeMarco, a romcom from 1994.
Mel Gibson makes the list as one of the most exciting and intense actors to ever hit the big screen. Coming from the “land down under,” he made a name for himself in the breakout role of Mad Max. From there, he personified the role of the crazed detective Martin Riggs in the Lethal Weapon film series that skyrocketed him to super stardom. Showing off his many talents, he wowed audiences in the ever-powerful Braveheart and made waves around the world with his vivid directorial depiction of the Passion of the Christ. This would solidify his name as not just one of the best actors, but best directors.
Brad Pitt is not only one of the best actors he is also one of the best-looking. From his early days in bit parts, he stood out, but his life-changing role came when he landed the role of Tristan Ludlow in Legends of the Fall. His filmography is extensive, and he’s also been part of two power couples: one with Jennifer Aniston and the other with Angelina Jolie.
Denzel Washington is an actor who has shown that he can do it all and mesmerize audiences across the board. Whether he plays the tough guy in action movies or softens up in heart-wrenching dramas, Denzel gives any role the rich depth that takes it from great to amazing. From his many classic roles in films such as Crimson Tide to the Equalizer series, one of his many highlights was the explosively intense lead in Training Day, which yielded him an Oscar for best actor.
